Recall LaGrange, AL May 3, 2008
The 31st Alabama & 17th Iowa Reenactors
This was a small event held on the LaGrange College Site a few miles South of Tuscumbia, AL. We have never been to this event before, never even heard
of it as a matter of fact. We were glad that we heard of it this year. It was only a one day event for us, but it was absolutely great. We portrayed the 17th Iowa
this day. Our unit brought 7 men and had one man join in with the group. We made for 8 of the 19 men fighting in this battle. The Confederates had 11 men in
their ranks, plus a runner and a drummer. Again, it was definitely a small battle but we had FUN!!!! Check out our pictures.
